We love MJ bread at Upward Projects. You might be familiar with MJ because of our Postino loaf, the dough at Federal Pizza, or the pretzels at Windsor. We recently had the opportunity to tour the space where all of our bread is made. Supporting local + carb loading = our favorite things.
We were in awe of the process and learned that there really is a great difference between artisan bread and the bread you find in your grocery store. We also learned that a beautiful bread will literally speak to you when you pull it out of the oven. You can hear the bread cooling and cracking when it leaves the oven. It was an informative day and we LOVED learning about the way our bread is made.
